Terms of Service
1. The service
GS1 Label Designer ("we", "us") provides an online label designer at https://barcode-label-studio.app for designing and printing labels with text, barcodes, QR codes and GS1 codes ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation.
2. Free and paid features
- Without a paid plan you can design labels, add barcodes and QR codes, print single labels and export SVG files.
- Batch printing from spreadsheets, GS1 DataMatrix and GS1 Digital Link QR, saving and opening label files, the template library, alignment guides and text backgrounds require a paid subscription ("Pro").
- A Pro subscription can be used on up to 3 browsers or devices at the same time. You can free a slot from your account.
3. Accounts
Provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; do not share accounts or resell access. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly in US dollars through PayPal (PayPal balance or debit / credit card). Prices are shown on the Pricing page before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from My account in the designer; cancellation stops future charges and Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Prices may change for future periods; we will email you at least 14 days before a price change affects your subscription.
- Prices do not include taxes that may apply in your country; where required, you are responsible for them.
5. Labels and codes you create
- You own the labels, files and codes you create. Label designs and spreadsheet data are processed in your browser.
- Only use GTINs and other GS1 identification keys you are authorised to use (normally allocated by a GS1 Member Organisation). The Service checks syntax and check digits but cannot verify ownership or registration.
- Always test-scan codes and check print quality before printing in volume. We are not liable for the cost of reprinting or relabelling.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to create unlawful, deceptive or counterfeit labels, to encode malicious content (for example phishing URLs), to infringe the rights of others, or to overload, scrape or circumvent the limits and payment of the Service.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features; we will not remove core paid features during a paid period without a pro-rata refund.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms; if we close an account without cause we refund the unused part of a paid period.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
